"ON THE ROCKS" AUDITIONS (Mon, 2/21; Wed, 2/23)"On The Rocks" is KCSA's annual production of student-written-acted-directed-produced one act plays to be put on at the end of April in Krannert's outdoor Amphitheatre. Acronymized as OTR, Tech Department Director Marc and the play directors are looking for people to take the stage and break some legs (in the actor's well wishing sense). Tentatively scheduled for the evenings of February 21st and 23rd, auditions for OTR will give you, the aspiring James V. or Katie H., a chance to show the directors what you're made of. The official announcement with actual places and times will be on the KCSA newsgroup, but until then, Marc can field your rocky questions at kcsa-otr@kcpa.uiuc.edu.
INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL ["I-FEST"] (Sun, 3/5, 1pm)In less than a month, KCSA will be putting on an International Festival in the Krannert Center. On March 5th, the event affectionately known as I-Fest takes over the lobby as it presents a world of culture under one roof! Volunteers would be fantabulous in the planning, organizing, setting up, clean up after, and working the event in many ways (from stage managers to tour guides)! To get involved, send some email en route to Melanie at msteinbe@uiuc.edu.
