On Sunday, come over to the Krannert Center lobby! KCSA is putting on an International Festival, as it presents "a world of culture under one roof!" A few groups will have booths at the event, and there will be some performances in the lobby as well! Come and take (or give!) a tour in a language other than English! There will also be a poster sale, too, so come on and visit! Bring your family and friends; the event is open to the entire community with no admission. If you'd like to help out at the event, or help setup or tear down, contact Angie at birnbaum@uiuc.edu.
WORK TECH FOR THE APRIL OPERA!!!Stage Manager CarolynAnn is sending out a request for some crew for the April opera, Pelleas et Melisande. They're in need of quite a few people to move some scenery! You'll need to be committed to the rehearsal schedule, as the scene shifts are very important and very choreographed! Crew will also be needed in other areas, such as Make-Up and Wigs, Costumes, Lights, and Props, too! For the rehearsal and performance scheduled, or to express interest, contact Marc at msolson@uiuc.edu.
USHER OF THE MONTHCongratulations to Josh Norem for his outstanding commitment to ushering at the Krannert Center. He volunteered for the Juilliard String Quartet, Drummers of West Africa, and Murray Perahia among other shows. For his efforts, he will be rewarded with a pair of complimentary tickets to the Krannert Center. Thanks Josh!
