This year, like in years past, KCSA is planning on marching in the parade. If you are interested in helping plan or design this year's engineering feat, also known as a "float", or if you want to participate in the parade itself, e-mail Jay (jayrohde@uiuc.edu). This is a great way to meet other members and help us promote KCSA to the rest of campus.

TASTE OF THE ARTS - Sunday, 10/17 (1 PM)
****************************************

Taste of the Arts, KCSA's annual performing and visual arts festival is quickly approaching-- Oct. 17th! If you would like to volunteer during the afternoon, please contact Melanie Steinberg (msteinbe@uiuc.edu). We'll need people to give tours, stage manage, act as runners, art guards, and general greeters. It's a lot of fun and a chance to get to know a few more KCSA'ers.

MEET AND SPEAK WITH RUSSIANS
****************************

Hi, this is Cornelio and I am looking for help. This month we have two Krannert Center productions involving Russian performers. In order to make them as comfortable as possible, we are seeking people fluent in Russian to serve as hosts/interpreters.

Following are the performances and times we would need interpreters:

Saturday, October 9th
Don Cossacks, Russian Folk Dance Co.
2p-11p (including 8pm performance)
Thursday, October 14th
Moscow State Radio Orchestra
1p-11p (including 8pm performance)

Because of the long hours, you will be fed dinner. In the past our policy is to compensate our translators with complimentary tickets to future Krannert performances, but this is negotiable. If you are interested and/or have any questions, please contact Cornie at cdc3@uiuc.edu or 244-8592.

AND NOW, A TOURS SHOUT-OUT
**************************

Let's congratulate our new tour guides: Joe, James, Katie, Ben, Raquel, Sue, Selva, Melissa, and Sandip! If you would still like to become a certified tour guide, please contact Kate Pirog at pirog@uiuc.edu. Also, remember to keep signing up for daily and special tours!
