NOVEMBER CALLBOARD SUBMISSION DEADLINE (Mon, 11/15)

Callboard articles are due November 15th. Anyone can submit articles, stories, pictures, poetry, etc. We are open to all kinds of ideas. The drop box is across from the KCSA office door in an envelope labeled "Callboard Submissions." If you have any questions, need a deadline extension, or want to run some ideas by us, please feel free. We'll be letting you know about the dates for the Edit and Layout in the near future.

WANNA BE AN MC? / NOVEMBER OPEN MIC NIGHT (Wed, 11/17 8pm)

The next KCSA Open Mic Night is coming up on Wednesday Night, November 11th. I've decided to step aside as MC for this event and give someone else the chance to be a part of the fun. This is an excellent opportunity to hone your public speaking skills, as well as see what goes on "behind the scenes". I'll still be there for the entire event to help you make sure the event goes smoothly, but you'll have a lot of creative control as to what you do with your time on stage. WANTED: ONE ACT PLAYS FOR "ON THE ROCKS" **************************************** "On The Rocks" 2000 to be performed in the Krannert Center Amphitheater in April 2000 is looking for one act plays. All plays should have minimal set requirements, be designed to work well in the outdoor amphitheater, and be no longer than 30 minutes. To be eligible for the selection process, please turn scripts into the KCSA office no later than noon on Friday, November 19, 1999 or email them to kcsa-otr@kcpa.uiuc.edu. BRING A FRIEND TO KRANNERT! (And get 2 free tickets...) (Fri, 11/19)

Know someone who's NEVER been to Krannert? This is the perfect opportunity to invite them to see a show with you and get some great food afterwards. November 19th is "Bring a Friend to Krannert Night". KCSA will be hosting a reception in the Krannert Room following the performances of Sinfonia da Camera: Peer Gynt, Everyman, and November Playhouse Dance. Bring a Non-KCSA friend to the show, then bring them along to the reception and eat great food, talk to other KCSAer's, and turn in the two tickets with your name on them and KCSA will give you two comp tickets to a future event. Ushering that night? Just bring your friend's ticket and you'll still get two! Even if you don't go to the shows, you're still invited to the reception too.
