1. Manual Signups, General Meeting, Usher/Tour Guide Training

The meeting you've all been waiting for is almost here! All events will take place in the Foellinger Great Hall at the Krannert Center.

MANUAL SIGNUPS - Sep. 5 (Wed.) @ 6:30pm
Come sign up for ushering or supervising great shows such as the Cirque Eloize, Joshua Redman, L.A. Guitar Quartet, Varsity Men's Glee Club, Philadelphia Orchestra, and many more! You must already be a trained usher to sign up for shows. Also, manual signups will end promptly at 7:00pm and reopen after the General Meeting.

GENERAL MEETING - Sep. 5 @ 7pm
Why come to the general meeting? We will keep it short and sweet; we promise! PLUS: Mike Ross (the Director for the Krannert Center) will be there to speak for a few minutes, we'll have free punch and cookies (courtesy of Mike Ross), and the raffle for Philadelphia Orchestra tickets! See below for more details....

USHER/TOUR GUIDE TRAININGS - Sep. 5 @ 8pm (after the general meeting)
Want to join the hundreds of volunteer ushers and tour guides at the Krannert Center? Great, but you have to be trained first! Training will last about an hour and you will be eligible to register online for ushering requests AND it will count as your first tour guide training.

2. Win A Pair Of Free Philadelphia Orchestra Tickets

Wow! Free tickets to the Philadelphia Orchestra on Sep. 21! This concert is currently SOLD OUT and tickets to the general public cost $46. Come to the General Meeting on Sep. 5 (Wed.) @ 7pm in the Great Hall and you will automatically be entered into a FREE raffle for a pair of tickets. The raffle will take place during the General Meeting, so you have to be there to win!

3. The New "JAR" Awards

Have you been ushering and/or supervising all those SOM concerts because you know they're short and easy to do? Now there's an award, just for you! To the usher and the supervisor who do the most SOM and Sinfonia concerts will go the new "JAR" award. More info coming soon to the KCSA website at http://www.kcsa.uiuc.edu/.
There are also the awards for Usher and Supervisor of the month. (Could the next one be you?)

4. Annual KCSA BBQ - FREE FOOD!

The food is free! And you can talk with some of those cool fellow KCSA people you keep seeing around but never had a chance to meet. Every year 40-50 people come help burn - er, cook - the food (hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, and more). Feel free to bring your friends!

When: Sep. 7 (Fri.) @ 5pm
Where: Illini Grove (located between McKinley and PAR on Lincoln Ave. - off the 22 Illini route)
Why: The dorms are serving fish (cod loin) on a bun and green beans on Friday

5. Member Registration - For All Members New & Old

Registration is for ALL KCSA members, new and old. There is NO FEE, in other words, ALL FREE! If you are a trained usher you can pick your shows at this time. Tour guides (and anyone interested in tours!) can enter their schedules, and all other members can select the departments they would like to be involved in.
